Is there any way to default the resolution to 300 when creating a new file in Photoshop based on something copied from Illustrator? I want to be able to copy a vector element from Illustrator, go to photoshop, create a new file and have that file default to the size of what I copied at 300 dpi. Currently when I try to do this, it defaults to 72 dpi. I don't want to create a preset as I always want the size of the file to be the same size as the element I am copying from Illustrator. I realize it doesn't take very long to change it manually, but I do this often and don't want to take the chance of missing that step and end up with a low resolution file and not realize it until there are issues with print quality. I always want 300, so I want that to be the default.
